Find value x and y 

5x + 6y =  27  ........(i)

 x + 2y = 7......(ii)

Step One: First of all we need to find x or y value 

multiply equation ii with 5

we get

    5x+10y=35.......(iii)

Step Two: now we can subtract equation (i) from equation (iii)

     5x + 10y = 35......(iii)

     5x + 6y = 27.....(i)

     0 + 4y = 35-27

            4y=8

            y=2

Step Three: We can put y value in any equation to find x

    putting y value in equation (ii) we get

    x+2*2=7

        x=7-4

        x=3

So the values of x and y are 3 and 2
